Cook Memorial's Morning Book Discussion meets at 10:00 a.m. on the second Wednesday of the month in the Cook Park Library. The Evening Book Discussion meets at 7:30 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of most months in the Program Room of the Cook Park Library. Join us for a lively exchange of ideas about the current selection.

Opportunities for English Language Learners

Book Talking for English Language Learners begins a spring session on April 8, 2008 at 7:00 PM in the Meetin Room at Cook Memorial Public Library. We will all read the same book and practice English conversation as we discuss it. We will also enjoy the movie version of our book and music and related information about our reading. Reading and Talking for English Language Learners begins a spring session on April 9, 2008 at 9:00 AM at the United Methodist Church of Libertyville in the nursery room. We will choose reading selections from various offerings at our meetings and discuss what we have read with each other.
