Become a Friend of Cook

The Friends of Cook Memorial Library is a not-for-profit organization run by volunteers interested in books and libraries who focus attention on library services and facilities, sponsor special programs, and finance equipment and supply needs through various fund-raising activities including popular book sales.

Volunteer

The library district welcomes both adult and youth volunteers to help with a variety of tasks in the library.  Visit our Volunteer Opportunities page for more information.

Cook Memorial Public Library District participates in the Special Education District of Lake County's (SEDOL) Prevocational Training Program, which helps students learn job skills by placing them in volunteer positions at local businesses.

As the Cook Memorial Public Library District grows, we need your help to branch out. Trees are wonderful living memories and add lasting beauty to the community.
