Gift and Memorial Books Gift donations purchase materials for the library's collection to commemorate an anniversary, the birth or a child, or as a memorial to a loved one. Each book purchased with a gift donation bears a distinctive bookplate noting the donor's name and the name of the person or the occasion being remembered. The Library will also send letters of acknowledgement to you and the beneficiary honored by your tax deductible gift and, if desired, make arrangements for you to be the first to check out the book. The Donation Request form is available at the Cook Memorial Library Reference Desk, online (Adobe Acrobat Reader Required), or contact Chris Popoli at 847-362-2330. All donations must conform with our Gifts and Donations policy. |
