Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia
Database. Based on the Academic American Encyclopedia. Updated monthly, this online encyclopedia contains expanded articles, bibliographies and hyperlinks to other web resources. Some of its strengths include the visual and performing arts, biographical information, and coverage of American cities. Recommended for grades 5 and up.

New Book of Knowledge
Database. An online encyclopedia for children in grades 3-5. Includes articles, pictures, facts, Internet links, projects, and lesson plans.

SIRS Discoverer
Database. For elementary and middle school students. Magazine and newspaper articles and documents from the U.S. government on a wide variety of subjects and current events.

Student Resource Center
Database. Reference essays, articles from magazines and newspapers, photographs and other resources for students in grades 6 through 12.

World Book
Database. An online encyclopedia of articles, suggested web links, animations, and interactive maps. Recommended for grades 4 and up.
