Author Suzanne Slade is invited to join the ‘magic carpet’ storytime on Saturday. Suzanne will read her new book, Animals Are Sleeping, and will delight children with animal activities.

Discover the wild world outside with a trek in the park.  After our hike, we’ll finish in the Program Room with some great books and delicious snacks.

Family Storytimes

Bring a lunch and enjoy stories and more.  Family storytime is designed for preschool-aged children and parents/caregivers.

A storytime designed to delight children ages one to two with a caregiver.  Each week, caregivers and children will enjoy books, songs, fingerplays and playtime.

Registered Storytimes at the Cook Park Library
Storytime sessions will run for four weeks, beginning the week of April 8. Registration for the four-week spring storytime session at the Cook Park Library will start at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, April 1. Lap-Time Lullabies for One-Year-Olds
9:30 A.M • Tuesdays, April 8-April 29 • 12-23 months with a caregiver
Share the library, books, and reading with your little one! Each half-hour session will feature songs, fingerplays, simple stories, movement, and social interaction in the Active Learning Center of the Picture Book area. As this is a special time for baby and parent or caregiver, siblings may not attend. Register
