Writing Contest Entries

10th Annual Writing Contest

Calling all young writers! It’s time again for Cook Library’s eagerly anticipated writing contest. Kids in grades 4–8 may submit an original story or poem for a chance to win publication in Cook Library’s own literary magazine and an invitation to an exclusive signing party.

Guidelines

• for students who live in or attend school in the Cook Memorial Public Library District

• one entry per student

• one author per entry

• entries may not be longer than 3,000 words

• deadline for entry is Friday, April 1 at 6 p.m.

• contest winners will be notified by April 29
