9th Annual Writing Contest

Calling all young writers! It’s time again for Cook Library’s eagerly anticipated writing contest. Kids in grades 4–8 are invited to write a story or poem for a chance to win publication in Cook Library’s own literary magazine and an invitation to an exclusive signing party.

Guidelines

• for students who live in or attend school in the Cook Memorial Public Library District

• one entry per student

• one author per entry

• entries may not be longer than 3,000 words

• deadline for entry is Friday, April 10 at 6 p.m.

• contest winners will be notified by April 24
