Origami Owls - Make One!

Paige Turner at your service!  And hello, all!

Have you seen all the origami owls hanging from branches inside Aspen and the TLC?  They were made out of leftover book jackets- did you notice that? Along with liking sweaters, cats and children, I, Paige Turner, like to RECYCLE!! And you can, too, by making YOUR owl out of a newspaper, wrapping paper or any scrap paper you have around your home. Make a square out of the paper - the bigger the square, the bigger your owl will be!

The owl was found in the book SUPER SIMPLE ORIGAMI by Irmagard Kneissler (J736.982) on pages 44 and 45.  Here you will see I've added the directions because I like you so much!  You may find other origami books in that same 736 section at the library.

Happy folding!  Whoooooo's going to have some fun crafting?  You!

Signing off now,

Paige Turner!
