(Shh) Try Some April Foolery

Print

Dear Readers,

How is your Spring Break going so far?  I hope it is

ever so much fun for you, no matter if you are here

or there!  I'm going to suggest great website for you

to check out on or before Friday, April 1.  Why?

Because that is April Fool's Day!

aprilfools-happyday

And everybody likes to eat on April 1st, right?

If you go to the Family Fun website at

www.familyfun.com

(Family Fun Magazine is also here at our library,

just not this issue currently), you can find 27

recipes for making "Deceptively Delicious Pranks"

such as:

*Fruit Chews Green Beans

*Fried Egg Sundae

*Fake Spaghetti and Malt Balls

*Faux French Fries

 *Fakin' and Eggs (shown here)

This recipe looks just like bacon and eggs, no?

Instead, yellow M & M's, white chocolate chips,

tootsie rolls and caramel squares are used...yum!

To find this recipe, go to the Family Fun home

page on the above web address.  Go to the green

box that says FUN APRIL FOOLERY.  Click it.

Look for the button that says "GO" and

click that.  You will be thrilled with recipes that

would fool even the most unsuspecting person.

Pick one (or more) and watch the faces of those you

surprise!

(Remember, being silly is the name of the game

when you think of goofy ways to trick someone

on April Fool's Day. It is not funny to end up

with tears, injuries or anything harmful.  If you

are in doubt, don't do it!  If it concerns food

that is sweet, do do it!)

Yours "Fool-y,"

Paige Turner!
