Hank Zipzer and Henry Winkler
Dear Readers,
Your parents and even your grandparents are certain to
know the name Fonzie from the TV sitcom Happy Days
which was popular during the 1970s. Fonzie was the character
who drove the motorcycle, wore the leather jacket and was
so, so cool!

This is what Fonzie looked like then. His real name is
Henry Winkler. Many years later, Henry Winkler has
become a popular children's book author. Maybe you know
about the series books of Hank Zipzer, but do you
know that Mr. Winkler wrote these books about a 4th grader
who has a learning disability - dyslexia - because he himself
has a learning disability? Hank is known as the "World's
Greatest Underachiever" and kids like you really like Hank.

If you check our online catalog, you will know that we have
lots of Hank Zipzer books on our shelves, as well as audio CD's
and downloadables. New York Times names this as one of the
best selling series, so you know you will be in for a good read
here. Talk about the Happy Days you'll have reading these
fun books - Fonzie would think you are so, so cool with your
nose in his books!
Asking the question, "Niagra Falls, or Does It?" and signing off,
Paige Turner!
