Book Badgers Reading Club

Book Badgers is a reading club for kids who read entirely on their own. Choose a genre (a kind of book: fantasy, folk/fairy tale, sports, scary stories, picture books, readers, non-fiction, for example).  Read 12 books of one genre and write the titles, authors and call numbers on your reading sheet.

From September to May, anyone who can read independently and has not completed 8th grade is welcome to join.  BOOK BADGERS must read books borrowed from the Library or the Bookmobile.  They may not be titles you have read before.  Book lists are here for many of the genres and we are happy to help you find some good stories. For each genre completed, you will receive a different "sew-on" patch (badge).

Sign up for Book Badgers at any of our locations!
