The Cook Memorial Public Library District offers a variety of valuable resources and services to our community’s teachers and homeschoolers.
Educators who work at a school within the library district are eligible for a teacher card that can be used to check out materials supporting their curriculum. Once you have a card, request materials using the Teacher Request Form.
Arrange for a librarian to visit your classroom. Children’s Department staff members are available to give book talks, author talks, or supplement chosen themes with library materials. Please contact School Services Coordinator Jan Hastings.
Homeschool Family Cards
Homeschoolers in our district are eligible for a family library card that can be used to check out materials supporting their curriculum. Once you have a card, request materials using the Homeschool Request Form.
Annual Preschool and Childcare Fair
Each January the library holds a fair to allow patrons to meet with childcare providers in the Libertyville/Vernon Hills area. If your preschool/childcare center would like to have a table at this popular event, please complete the Preschool Fair Form.
