Writing Contest Entries

11th Annual Writing Contest

Once more, it is time for Cook Library’s Annual Writing Contest. Kids in grades 4-8 are invited to write a story or poem for a chance to win publication in Cook Library’s own literary magazine and an invitation to an exclusive signing party.

 

Guidelines

• For students in grades 4-8 who live or attend school within the Cook Memorial Public Library District

• one entry per student

• one author per entry

• entries may not be longer than 3,000 words

• deadline for entry is Tuesday, April 4 at 9 p.m.

• contest winners will be notified by Friday, April 28
