It’s summer again—time for reading, watching, listening, and exploring great library materials at the beach, on the porch, or just about anywhere. Even better, you can earn prizes doing it!
Registration open!
Kids, teens, and adults—register to participate in Summer Reading at the Reference Desk, the Bookmobile, or online through READsquared. You can’t win if you don’t sign up!
T-Shirt Sales
Get your very own 2022 Summer Reading t-shirt! Each shirt is $5 and you may choose from youth and adult sizes. Shirts are only available for purchase at the library. Cash or check only, please.
- Visit Cook Park Library (Children’s Desk) or Aspen Drive Library (Check Out Desk).
- Figure out your size using the samples at the library.
- Request your shirt(s) and pay at the Check Out Desk!
Look for signs in the library and ask a staff member if you need help.
Kids (birth–grade 8)
Summer reading is for EVERYONE. Whether you’re a reader, doer, or explorer, there are many ways for you to earn points. When you reach the goal, you’ll receive a prize!
High School (grades 9-12)
Read. Do. Explore. Participating in Summer Reading is fun and easy! Earn points for every book you read, and complete Bonus Activities for even more fun ways to earn additional points. Tally up 100 points and earn a free book. Complete the program to enter our grand prize drawing for an Amazon gift card!
Adults
Summer Reading isn’t just for kids! This year, we’re giving away handy notebooks to track all your reading, plus you’ll be entered in our drawing for $100 in gift cards from local businesses.
