September is Library Card Sign-Up Month, the annual celebration of the power public libraries offer the community. Whether you’re a library regular, new to the District, or getting the kids back in school, stop into any Cook Memorial Public Library District (CMPLD) location to start reaping the benefits.
Read more about the benefits of a CMPLD card on page 2 of our fall newsletter.
Don’t have a card? Getting one is easy!
Your Library Card Packs a PUNCH!
Get rewarded for using your library card all September long! The more you use your library, the greater your chances of winning a prize.
Complete activities to earn hole punches on a special punch card, and then when you reach the goal, you’ll earn an entry ticket for your chance to win one of four grand prize drawings.
How to Participate
- Starting Friday, September 1, pick up a punch card at any Library location.
- Complete activities from the list, then visit a Library service desk to get a hole punch.
- Collect five punches, then visit the Check Out Desk to enter the drawing of your choice. Every additional five punches earns another entry ticket, so keep your card to continue earning!
