If you or a neighbor can’t make it into the library due to a disability, our Homebound Delivery is a great alternative. Whether it’s a temporary or long-term situation, you may put in a request for delivery of books, CDs, and DVDs. We can even help you find great titles! Senior Housing Stops
We make regular lobby stops at area senior housing facilities to deliver and pick up library materials. Once signed up for this service, material may be requested for weekly or bi-weekly delivery. To sign up, please contact Homebound Supervisor Linda Weagley at 224-513-7434 or lweagley@cooklib.org.
We make stops at the following facilities and also provide service to individual homes if you qualify.
- Brookdale Vernon Hills — Wednesdays 12:30–1:30 pm
- Brookdale Hawthorn Lakes — Thursdays, 1:30-2:15 pm
- Green Oaks Senior Living — every other Tuesday, 11:15 am–12 pm
- The Sheridan at Green Oaks — Tuesdays, 10:15–11 am
- StoryPoint — Wednesdays, 10:15–11 am
- Victory Centre — every other Tuesday, 12:15–1 pm
