The Cook Memorial Public Library District offers a variety of valuable resources and services to our community’s teachers and homeschoolers.
If you work in a preschool or childcare center, please visit the Services for Early Childhood Educators page.
Teacher Accounts
Educators who work at a school within the Library District are eligible for a teacher account that can be used to check out materials supporting their curriculum. To request a card, please contact Student Services Coordinator Amy vanGoethem.
Once you have a card, request materials using the Teacher Request Form.
Field Trips & Classroom Visits
Arrange for a librarian to visit your classroom or for your class to visit the Library. Children’s Services staff members are available to give tours of the Library, book talks, and provide training on using the Library’s online resources for research.

Youth Book Club Collection
Multiple copies of specially selected books are available for your book club. If you need additional copies, please request them using the Teacher Request Form.
Homeschool Family Account
Homeschoolers in our Library District are eligible for a family account that can be used to check out materials supporting their curriculum. Once you have a card, request materials using the Homeschool Request Form.

Parent/Teacher Collection
A collection of materials for parents and teachers including workbooks, instructional guides, and books on topics of interest to parents, caregivers, and teachers.
