With the success of the Black Panther movie, it is no surprise that the accompanying album has been extremely popular. Over 154,000 copies sold in the first week alone. Curated by Grammy-winning artist Kendrick Lamar, the album showcases a plethora of different voices and styles. Many artists are familiar to most including SZA, The Weeknd, and of course, the man who made this album what it is, Lamar. Others are less recognizable like Zacari, Jorja Smith, and Sjava giving a chance for fans of hip-hop to broaden their horizons with new artists.
