A real-life mystery, full of larger-than-life characters, and the titular emerald that is either worth almost nothing or $925 million. It’s confusing and hard to explain in a short blurb, but fascinating with incredibly compelling illustrations throughout. A great long-read for the weekend.

There’s true crime (Serial), comedy (2 Dope Queens), interviews (Fresh Air) and pop culture (Gilmore Guys).  This is a great guide if you’re looking for a new podcast to listen to or if you don’t know where to start. There’s bound to be a podcast for you on this list. Also, don’t forget about the library’s podcast while you’re thinking about them!
