Welcome to November! I don’t know about you, but this time of year I start thinking (and planning) for all the holiday food to come and all the things still on my to-do list. I love dreaming of fun food and fun books. Books with depth just don’t hold much appeal for me this time of year. I have so much going on that I want light, easy books that won’t spoil my mood, and if they include delicious food description all the better. Check out these food-centered reads while tackling your to-do list.

She must try to protect the president and her shot at executive chef. If you like State of the Onion, it’s the first in a series focused on Olivia and White House food.
