Passport to the Parks

June 1-August 31, 2026 • Vernon Hills

Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with a community-wide scavenger hunt. Explore new-to-you spots around Vernon Hills for a chance to win fun prizes.

How It Works:

1. Get your map!
2. Follow the map to find all 10 of our painted wooden pallets.
3. When found, take your photo with the pallet.
4. When you have collected all 10 photos, scan the QR code on the bottom of the map sheet and upload your photos. Be sure to hit submit!
5. You will get a confirmation email and a goodie bag for participating!

Bonus: All households that submit a completed photo hunt will be put in a raffle to win a grand prize at the end of the summer! *One entry per household*
