Come on In, the Door is Open
As you drive by Cook Park this Sunday you’ll notice that the doors to the Cook House are open for visitors. Take the opportunity to see what’s inside…
…the impressive entryway where you are greeted by Mr. Cook himself.
…a Garland black steel and iron stove in a fully equipped Victorian kitchen.
…wedding dresses from the late 1800s and early 1900s
…Mr. Cook’s own desk with a secret compartment
(It’s so secret we can’t show a picture!)
The Ansel B. Cook House and Victorian Museum will open their doors to visitors from 2 – 4 p.m. this Sunday, August 11, 2013 and the following two Sundays, so stop in soon. You’ll be glad you did. Entrance fees are minimal.
