Spring break is here, and it’s the perfect time to kick back with all those great reads you haven’t yet had time for! Whether you’re on the beach or enjoying a peaceful staycation, the library has got the perfect cozy book for you.

The weather might not be able to decide whether to warm up or cool down, but the temperature is always the same on the rink in Alexandra Moody’s Grumpy Darling. Paige has nearly finished her senior year bucket list, but due to her best friend and hockey player Grayson’s overprotectiveness, she has one last task to complete – experiencing her first kiss. Paige demands that Grayson stop scaring off potential suitors by becoming her dating coach, but this might be Grayson’s last chance to come clean about his own feelings for Paige. Fans of hockey romance like Icebreaker by Hannah Grace will love this fluffy friends-to-lovers romance.

If you’re looking for something a little warmer than the ice rink, it might be time to move into the kitchen! In Myra Rose Nino’s Lovely Recipe, Sofia’s senior year goal is to recreate one of her grandmother’s recipes, hoping that it will draw back her distant mother. The only problem is: she can’t cook! Rescue arrives in the form of Anne Marie, an accomplished young chef willing to trade cooking lessons for help around her family’s restaurant. As the two grow closer, however, they might find that cooking and their relationship have something in common: both involve chemistry! This delightful graphic novel is the perfect soothing read for a quiet spring break.

And if you’re craving a spring trip but can’t leave the armchair, The Faraway Inn by Sarah Beth Durst is your ticket to a cozy fantasy bed and breakfast. A terrible break up sends Calisa running to her aunt’s bed and breakfast in Vermont, hoping that helping out for a few months will take her mind off the heartbreak. But her aunt isn’t the most welcoming host, and is reluctant to accept much-needed help around the inn. As Calisa tries to dig deeper into the inn’s history and fix it up with help from the groundkeeper’s handsome son, she finds that there is a lot more to both the inn and her aunt than she could have realized.
So many cozy reads, so little time left in spring break! What will you be reading next?
